The Simpson's Halloween episode aired last night. I don't get to see the Simpsons too much these days but I did catch this one and it was hilarious as usual.It was very funny until the end where it actually took a little stab at the current clusterfuck we call Iraq. Kang And Kodos invade Springfield and three years later they are frustrated because the people are still fighting back.
Kang: I thought we were going to be hailed as liberators!
Kodos: They were working on weapons of mass disintegration!
Kang: Sure they were!
Then a shot of Springfield, ruined and desolate.
End of episode.
A bit to political for a cartoon? Maybe. Well deserved? Definitely.
