No Boom Boom For Your Bang Bang


The Greek playwright Aristophanes wrote a play called Lysistrata.

The premise is the women of a village are sick and tired of their men going off to war constantly. So, as the next war comes around, the women refuse to have sex with their men if they are going to be warring.

In the play, the men are constantly aroused. The actors would wear strap on hard-ons under their tunics to display this.

I had to perform a scene from this in college. I used a paper towel roll. Actually knocked off a coffee cup off my teacher's desk with it. I got big laughs for that one.

ANYWAY....

The women of Bogota, Columbia, are doing the same thing:

They are calling it the "crossed legs" strike.
